Interdisciplinarity

Since the advent of the atomic bomb, a reflection of the premises and consequences of thinking and acting as a physicist appears inevitable to me. In principle, all disciplines have such a responsibility. Interdisciplinarity and social commitment are ethical and political premises for science. The interdisciplinarity follows the interconnectedness of knowledge. It is a logical requirement. This universality reflects the entanglement that makes the many into the plural wholeness of our reality - an insight which is taught and explored by quantum theory.
